GROWING INDOORS

Philodendron "Ring of Fire" is believed to be the variegated form of P. Jungle Boogie. One of the few Philodendron that sport sawtoothed leaf blades and throws random patterns of white, cream, and red variegation. Though "Ring of Fire" is a relatively easy plant to grow, it tends to sit at a standstill unless the humidity in its environment is increased. Each new leaf will slowly emerge as a jagged slender cone; wrapped in random splashes of variegation; surely to result as the most anticipated growth in your collection. Your Ring of Fire is potted in a fast draining aroid mix so be sure to water as soon as the soil is dry. Providing higher levels of humidity will quickly encourage the plant to climb & push out large beautiful leaves.

GROWING OUTDOORS

Philodendron grow very well outdoors, but they are not winter hardy and should be brought inside once temperatures dip below 55 degrees. Spring through Fall, keep your Philodendron in Full to Partial Shade and make sure it is not receiving any hot, direct sun. Water once your plant has had a chance to dry out, usually about every 4-5 days outdoors with moderate temperatures. During periods of extreme heat, you may need to water your Philodendron every 2-3 days.
