GROWING INDOORS

Philodendron Erubescens 'Pink Princess' is a gorgeous climbing plant that throws random splashes of pink and white variegation. As the plant matures the leaves shift to a deep dark green that appears almost black, while the stem and petioles remain burgundy. We recommend a well draining soil that can take water regularly and not get soggy. 'Pink Princess' will grow quickly if provided with extra humidity. We encourage you to provide strong light for your Princess, they will tolerate a bit of direct sun indoors if available. 

GROWING OUTDOORS

Philodendron grow very well outdoors, but they are not winter hardy and should be brought inside once temperatures dip below 55 degrees. Spring through Fall, keep your Philodendron in Full to Partial Shade and make sure it is not receiving any hot, direct sun. Water once your plant has had a chance to dry out, usually about every 4-5 days outdoors with moderate temperatures. During periods of extreme heat, you may need to water your Philodendron every 2-3 days.
