GROWING INDOORS
Tradescantia are herbaceous perennial wildflowers often found growing in wooded areas. The genus is composed of 75 species that will either climb or trail in its habitat. 'Nanouk' will grow as a gorgeous vine in your home. With its highly variegated & glossy, leaves this plant stands out amongst the rest. Direct sun is not necessary for your Tradescantia to thrive indoors, a nice bright room will keep your plant happy & thriving. We recommend watering your Tradescantia as soon as the soil is dry.
GROWING OUTDOORS
Tradescantia will grow beautifully outdoors, but they are not winter hardy and should be brought inside once temperatures dip below 55 degrees. Spring through Fall, keep your Tradescantia in Full Shade/filtered sun and make sure it is not receiving any hot, direct sun. Water once your plant has had a chance to dry out, usually about every 4-6 days with moderate temperatures. You may need to water your Tradescantia every 2-3 days during periods of extreme heat.
