GROWING INDOORS
Dieffenbachia Reflector has gorgeous velvety leaves with highly contrasting spots that appear to reflect light. Dieffenbachia are beloved houseplants for their tolerance of lower light levels and their low maintenance water needs. We recommend providing strong indirect light for your Dieffenbachia, but it will tolerate low light. A weekly watering should do the trick to keep your plant happy, and extra humidity will keep crispy leaf edges at bay.
GROWING OUTDOORS
Dieffenbachia will grow beautifully outdoors, but they are not winter hardy and should be brought inside once temperatures dip below 55 degrees. Spring through Fall, keep your Dieffenbachia in Full Shade and make sure it is not receiving any hot, direct sun. Water once your plant has had a chance to dry out, usually about every 4-6 days with moderate temperatures. You may need to water your Dieffenbachia every 2-3 days during periods of extreme heat.
