GROWING INDOORS
Philodendron "Painted Lady" is a stunning climbing aroid for any level of plant collector. New leaves emerge as as light yellow and slowly shift to a rich green as they harden. Random splashes of variegation will occur as the plant grows and its petioles will retain their pink hue. This Philo will handle medium indirect light to direct sun. Your Painted Lady is potted in a fast draining aroid mix so be sure to water as soon as the soil is dry. Providing higher levels of humidity will quickly encourage the plant to climb & push out large beautiful leaves.
GROWING OUTDOORS
Philodendron grow very well outdoors, but they are not winter hardy and should be brought inside once temperatures dip below 55 degrees. Spring through Fall, keep your Philodendron in Full to Partial Shade and make sure it is not receiving any hot, direct sun. Water once your plant has had a chance to dry out, usually about every 4-5 days outdoors with moderate temperatures. During periods of extreme heat, you may need to water your Philodendron every 2-3 days.
