Rhaphidophora Hayi is a fast growing, shingling aroid that makes a perfect addition to any plant collection. We encourage providing a plaque or coarse surface for your Hayi to climb so that it will continue to produce leaves that increase in size. Rhaphidophora originate from tropical Asia, while Monstera are native to Central and South America. Make sure to provide bright, indirect light, a thorough watering once a week, and extra humidity to encourage vigorous growth.

Rhaphidophora grow beautifully outdoors, but they are not winter hardy and should be brought inside once temperatures dip below 55 degrees. Spring through Fall, keep your Rhaphidophora in Full to Partial Shade and make sure it is not receiving any hot, direct sun. Water once it's had a chance to dry out, usually about every 4-5 days outdoors with moderate temperatures. During periods of extreme heat, you may need to water every 2-3 days.
