GROWING INDOORS

Monsteras don’t ask for much, just bright, indirect light, weekly waterings and room to grow. These aroids are natural climbers, so they will appreciate being given something to dig their aerial roots into and reach for the sky. Certain species, such as M. Dubia, simply won’t grow unless the underside of the leaves can attach to some for of organic material. In order for the foliage to reach its fullest potential, it is important that every root on your Monstera has access to moisture and nutrients.

GROWING OUTDOORS

Monsteras grow beautifully outdoors, but they are not winter hardy and should be brought inside once temperatures dip below 55 degrees. Spring through Fall, keep your Monstera in Full to Partial Shade and make sure it is not receiving any hot, direct sun. Water your Monstera once it's had a chance to dry out, usually about every 5 days outdoors with moderate temperatures. During periods of extreme heat, you may need to water your Monstera every 2-3 days.
